"Tao Te Ching", also known as "Tao De Jing", "Lao Tzu", "Five Thousand Words" and "Five Thousand Essays of Lao Tzu", is a work written by the pre-Qin scholars in ancient China before they separated. The legend was written by Lao Tzu Li Er (who seems to be a collection of authors, commentators, and copyists) in the Spring and Autumn Period, and is an important source of Taoist philosophy. The Tao Te Ching is divided into two volumes. The original text is the first "Te Ching" and the second "Tao Ching", which are not divided into chapters. They were later changed to "Tao Ching" with 37 chapters first, and after chapter 38 as "Te Ching". For 81 chapters. It is the first complete philosophical work in Chinese history.
