Mac-Scan is an app which is designed and created to communicate with the internal machine management solution provided by Sharemac. Many machines which are managed through this software are tagged with Sharemac-Tags. These tags provide all important information about the tagged machine and makes it readable through Mac-Scan by simply using the NFC- or QR-Standard. The App then provides several functions: Inventory Check in and Check out via NFC and QR: With this function a project manager or machine driver is able to check in a machine to a construction site as soon as it arrives or to do it the other way round when it leaves the site again. The scanned information will be then send and used in the cloud-based machine management software to show when the machine arrived and left. Tag finder: The Tag finder helps you to find a certain tag and with it the targeted machines within a storage like a container. This function helps to keep the overview when it comes to smaller machines and equipment and brings the controllability of machines to a new level. In the near feature, Sharemac will provide more functions in the app which will make the best use of the Sharemac-Tags and its functions.
