Introduction of Raining Bell The motivation of co-developing Raining Bell aims at engaging cross-cutting synergies of public-private partnership on applying real-time radar monitoring technique for altering rains or thunderstorms to come. The APP takes advantage of mobile devices to display easy-to-understand graphic animation converted from professional information. By using signals received by GPS chip in any mobile device, Raining Bell will provide location-based animated information and instant alters according to intensities of near-by radar echoes. This APP is under evolution for better performance. Through methodologies of data assimilation technique and radar reflectivity extrapolation, it integrates most observations of radar stations in Taiwan and FORMOSAT-7 Radio Occultation.
