The Herd Pregnancy and Insemination Calculator application allows the user to enter the breeding parameters of their herd and then calculate the required number of pregnancies and inseminations per time interval to maintain the herd. To start, the user must enter the herd size, calving interval, pregnancy loss rate, culling rate and mortality rate. Next, the user must enter the average insemination success rate of lactating cows and the average insemination success rate of heifers. To get the required text field data, you can refer to a report generated by the software present on the farm.
