VideoSamtale is for those who are patients in the North Jutland region and who have an appointment via video with a hospital ward or outpatient clinic. With VideoSamtale, you and the healthcare staff can both see and hear each other, and you can discuss your treatment and your health without having to travel to the hospital. In order to be able to use VideoSamtale, it is a prerequisite that you have a NemID. Please note that it is you and the healthcare staff who agree whether a video call is an option in the individual situation. When you install Video Call, you must give permission for the app to use the phone's microphone and camera. These are the functions that must be used so that you and the healthcare staff can see and hear each other during the video call. On the day you are called for an interview via VideoSamtale, you must open the app and log in with your NemID. The app now shows you your agreement with the department that you click on. You are now placed in a \waiting room\ where you wait until the healthcare professional you have an appointment with \arrives\ and starts the conversation. If you log in on a day when you do not have an appointment, it will be written in the app that there is no appointment scheduled for the current day.
